Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva, within the framework of the 68th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York, held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the National Working Committee for Children and Women's Affairs under the State Council, Deputy Chairman of the All-China Women's Federation of the People's Republic of China, Huang Xiaowei.Issues of strengthening trade, economic, investment cooperation, inter-parliamentary relations between our countries, and expanding cooperation in the field of poverty reduction were considered.

It was especially noted that the open and trusting relationship between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Chairman Xi Jinping laid a solid foundation for expanding and strengthening multilateral cooperation.The parties exchanged views on the implementation of joint projects and programs in the field of gender equality.A proposal has been put forward to establish a regular dialogue between the Family and Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the relevant Senate committee and the All-China Women’s Federation, including signing a Memorandum of Cooperation.
